Race driver Jesse Coombs was killed in a collision while he was trying to set a new speed record.
Coombs, 39, was trying to win the title of fastest woman in the world, but left the land while she was driving faster than all women in history.
Coombs recorded his attempt to break the speed record on social media and his goal was to break the record set in 1976 by driving at a speed of 512 miles, or about 820 kilometers at the time.
