The President of the General Union of Arab Experts and President of the World Council for Tolerance and Peace, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jarwan, called on Arab countries to unite to face the challenges facing the region. faces.

Al-Jarwan said in a statement released Thursday on the sidelines of his participation in a two-day Arab League workshop under the title (Centers of Arab Thought and Sustainable Development), which lasted for two days at the headquarters of the Arab League.

He added that relevant experts and specialists were invited to raise awareness and address sustainable development issues for the benefit of Arab citizens.

He called attention to the issues of sustainable development given the scarcity of water resources in the region and the challenges that face sustainability issues for development in the Arab world, pointing out that the most important issues are: The workshop had discussed a number of working documents in this regard.

Al-Jarwan underscored the importance of partnership between Arab think tanks and policy makers in Arab countries and governments to achieve sustainable development and translate the ideas and ideas contained in the research papers on the ground.
