The price of gold in Egypt rose on Thursday August 29, 2019, an increase of about one pound per gram.
Gold prices recorded 21 carats about 708 pounds, 18 carats about 607 pounds, 24 carats about 809 pounds, while the gold pound recorded 5664 pounds.
Gold rose about 8% this month, about 19% since the start of the year, and recorded a fourth consecutive week of gains.
The price of gold jumped 5 pounds per gram on Wednesday in the local Egyptian market, making it the highest price in its history.
