King Salman bin Abdulaziz, guardian of the two Holy Mosques, on Friday issued a royal order to establish a ministry on behalf of the "Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources" and to appoint Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif to the post of minister.
Bandar Al-Khorayef graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from King Saud University and is the CEO of Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Khorayef Sons Company. He is also vice president of ARASCO, member of the board of directors of the Economic Society and the Riyadh chamber.
He has also been General Manager of AlKhorayef Printing Solutions since 1993. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of AlKhorayef Group, AlKhorayef Trading Company, AlKhorayef Petroleum Company and McCain Capital, as well as vice-president of the industrial committee in the Riyadh Chamber.
Al-Khareef served on Al-Watan's board between 2000 and 2016, Amaco between 2009 and 2013, Saudi Finance House between 2009 and 2011 and Sama Airlines between 2005 and 2010.
