The Zamalek handball team will face Qatar's Al-Duhail in second place from fifth to tenth in the Saudi Arabian Club World Cup.
Zamalek had a break in Thursday's playoffs after leaving the quarterfinals and leaving the top spots to face New York City on Friday.
Zamalek sank in the quarterfinals against Germany's Kiel 32/28.
Fifth to tenth places are determined according to the tournament system by dividing the teams that did not reach the Golden Square into two groups including Zamalek, Al Duhail and New York City and the other group comprising Mudar Al Saudi, the University of Sydney and the Brazilian Taobate.
The German Kiel has qualified for the quarterfinals by beating Tuesday's University of Sydney 41-27, before overtaking Zamalek to reach the Golden Square.
While Zamalek qualified for the Super Globe to win the African Super Cup at the expense of Al-Ahly 38/35 in Oujda, Morocco.
Bassem El Sobky, technical director of the handball team in Zamalek, had 19 players in the tournament list: Mohamed Ali, Mahmoud Khalil "Pepper", Hisham El Sobky, Mohamed Alaa Sayed "Luka", Mustafa Tamer "Dongle", Ahmed Al Ahmar, Hazem Mamdouh, Ahmed Hossam, Mohamed Haddem Rahman Khalil, Ali Hisham, Akram Yousry, Ahmed Mo Men, Karim Ayman, Wissam Sami Nawar, Hisham Shadid and Mohammed Ramadan Hitler, as well as Hassan Walid, top scorer of the newly-elected junior team of the Sun.
