Apple said some second- and third-generation screens of its aluminum-made smartwatch were cracking to the side under certain conditions, and that crack continued to include all the edges of the watch, as shown in the attached photo.
Apple watch users who qualify for free repair should visit an Apple service center or its affiliates if their watch has this type of crack on the screen.
All second and third generation versions of Apple Watch are included in the free hotfix. Apple requires that the application be applied for a maximum of 3 years from the date of purchase or within one year from today (31/08/2019).
If you have an Apple Watch with this crack on the screen, repair it only at an Apple Authorized Service Center so you do not incur a repair fee.
