TCL's first smartphone with its own brand will appear at IFA 2019

The company announced that it will officially unveil its first smartphone under the TCL brand for global markets on September 5 at the IFA 2019 show in the German capital, Berlin.

The Chinese company will also unveil a new screen concept screen and the first portable screen, as well as a "100-inch cinema experience for a device the size of most sunglasses". Stefan Streit, managing director of global marketing at TCL, said that one of the world's leading screen manufacturers, TCL is committed to bringing its "multimedia experience to mobile devices."

CSOT is a sister company of TCL and has developed the screen used in the next TCL phone, dubbed Dotch. It should be noted that Dotch is the result of the combination of the words point and notch, which means that technically, the next TCL phone will include a screen with a hole for the front camera.

TCL's new collapsible smartphone concept will feature the brand new ButterflyHinge seal, which will complete the DragonHinge seal already announced at the MWC 2019 Mobile World congress held at the end of February in Barcelona, ​​Spain, but the first folding device ready to fold will be marketed.
