A young Indian actress recently made headlines, not with the success of her work nor the allure of her pace, but with her suicide.
Indian police revealed that actress Pearl Punjabi had committed suicide Thursday morning in the early hours of Friday, jumping from the balcony of her apartment in the "Achiwara" neighborhood in Mumbai.
According to the Daily News and Analysys, Pearl is in her twenties and has died as a result of her injuries.
Pearl is known to be an aspiring actress and has been trying to make her way into the movie world for a long time, but without success, leaving her in a bad psychological state.
The reports said that she was not happy in terms of her personal life, as the relationship between her and her mother was tense and they were arguing a lot.
About suicide, Bipin Kumar, a security officer who worked in Pearl's apartment, said: "It happened between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm, there was noise, I thought someone was yelling in the street, I went there to check what was going on and, when I came back, I heard noises from the third floor where she lived. "
Until now, the Indian authorities are still investigating this incident.
Naga Jhansi, an Indian actress, had already committed suicide at her home in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad.
Jansi's brother, known for his role in the "Pavitra Bhandanam" series, found his body hanging in the ceiling fan of the house.
The parents of 21-year-old actress Jansi reportedly said that she had a romantic relationship with a young man, but her parents did not agree with this relationship, pointing out that Naga Jansi was depressed a few days before her suicide.
