A charity store in the British province of Hertfordshire sold a vase for £ 1, or about $ 1.22, for later on a shopping website.

The vase was made for the Chinese Emperor Qianlong, who ruled from 1753 to 1796.
It is inscribed with an imperial poem of incense.
Emperor Qianlong was the sixth emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He ceded power to his son, Emperor Jiaqing, and died three years later, at the age of 87, in 1799.
The vase, valued at about $ 97,000, decided to hold an auction in November.
