The Tunisian Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Organization of the Arab League for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), will hold the 24th session of the Conference on Antiquities and Cultural Heritage in the Arab world on September 19th and 20th.
The Ministry of Culture said today that the session will be held under the title: "The role of civil society in the protection of cultural heritage", under the auspices of the Minister of Cultural Affairs Mohamed Zine El Abidine and the Minister of Culture. general manager of "Alexo" Mohamed Ould Omar.
The conference will be held in the city of Sousse, during which the chairmanship of the Conference of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage in the Arab World will be transferred from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Tunisian Republic. Among them, preserve the cultural heritage and documentation of archaeological pieces and historical monuments.
