Recent reports have revealed that Samsung is developing a new folding phone, while repairing its previous version, "Galaxy Fold".

The company launched its first collapsible phone, the Galaxy Fold, several months ago, but soon found defects and problems that led to its removal.

The company is working on a second foldable phone, which can be folded into a square, according to sources close to the Daily Mail newspaper.

According to the report, the new device with an internal screen size of 6.7 inches can be folded into a small box, and the company is striving to make the phone thinner and cheaper than its predecessor Galaxy Fold, which costs around two thousand dollars.

The device, which has not yet been named, will contain a range of front and rear cameras, including a perforated front lens similar to that of the new Galaxy Note.

It will also include two rear cameras whose function varies depending on the phone's mode, so that the cameras can be used when you open the phone and only one camera is folded.

The new phone is different from its predecessor, "Galaxy Fold", in its form after opening the flap, where it has the size of a normal smartphone, adapted to the dimensions of applications, unlike what happens with the largest Galaxy Fold, which requires custom applications.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in February, a few days before users noticed several failures, ranging from the interruption of the phone screens to work, through other accidents, through the phone. dust entry into the body of the device. The foldable smartphone should be relaunched next week.
