Honor officially announces Honor 20S

Honor brand, a subsidiary of Huawei, officially announced Wednesday that its Honor 20S Honor 20S smartphone would be similar to its predecessor (Honor 20), except for the change of processor and the removal of the rear camera which will therefore be sold at a lower price.

The Honor 20S includes a Kirin 810 processor rather than a Kirin 980 processor. It also features the Mali-G52 MP6 instead of the Mali-G76 MP10. The phone offers 6 or 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage and the possibility of extension via external memory cards (Micro SD).

The Honor 20S comes with three 48 megapixel rear cameras for the main camera, but it can not record 4K video because the processor only records in 1080p at 30 frames per second maximum. The second and third cameras are 8 megapixels for wide-angle shooting and 2 megapixels for deep shooting.

The phone has a 32 megapixel front camera. The 6.26-inch IPS LCD screen has a resolution of 1080+. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor in a button on the side. The Honor 20S has a 3.750mAh battery. Supports 20W fast charge technology.

The phone can be ordered from today on the Thursday of the start of sales. If the user connects to the phone today, he will get a wired earphone (Huawei AM115) Huawei AM115.

Huawei intends to launch (Honor 20S) a price equivalent to US $ 265 for the 6/128 GB model and a price of $ 305 for the 8/128 GB model. In comparison, the phone ( Honor 20) is available at a price of $ 375 for the 8/128 GB model.
