The recent concert of Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan on the north coast is still controversial in Egypt because of his accusations of abuse committed during the concert.
Essam Farag, secretary general of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Media Organization, confirmed that he had received a complaint from the Egyptian artist Hany Shaker as musician president. He explained that Mohamed Ramadan had violated his party and demanded a firm decision against him after provoking public opinion against the union and its board of directors.
The Secretary-General said that the Council had asked these two parties to move and conduct an investigation with Mohamed Ramadan, provided that the role of the Council, after receiving the response of both parties in accordance with the investigation, be discussed by the Council as an appropriate sanction.
