The spokesman of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Khalid Abalkhail, explained that what is circulating about the application of the minimum wage of citizens in the "ranges" of the program is inaccurate.
He explained in a tweet on his official page on "Twitter" that what was circulating was still a draft resolution and that it had been placed on the platform "Together for Resolution" to allow stakeholders and specialists to improve the resolution and to express their comments and opinions about it.
Several platforms and websites disseminated information that the Minister of Labor and Social Development had adopted a decision to increase the minimum wage for private sector citizens from 3,000 to 4,000 RM.
