The dollar fell against the Egyptian pound a few hours later during Thursday's trading session, its price having dropped about 8 piastres in 9 Egyptian banks.
The dollar fell to 16.44 pounds to buy and 16.54 pounds to sell, and to the bank of Alexandria to 16.43 pounds to buy and 16.53 pounds to sell. He also recorded at Arab African Bank 16.45 pounds at the purchase and 16.55 pounds for sale.
This decline is due to the stability of the currency supply in the market and to the expectations of a continuing decline supported by increasing supply and availability of currencies.
