The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Majed Al-Qasabi, signed Thursday seven investment contracts representing a total business turnover of more than 1.6 billion riyals.

The Ministry explained that the activities concluded in the contracts were various and that the Secretariat of the Eastern Region had signed two contracts concerning the investment in the car parks, in particular the setting up of 20 000 intelligent car parks distributed between the car parks located on main roads and multi-storey car parks.

She added that four contracts had been signed for the billboard sites of the Riyadh and Eastern Region secretariats, including 300 billboards with digital specifications, in addition to the contract for restoration and renovation. 39 operating commercial complexes located in the central area of ​​Medina to enhance the level of services provided to visitors to the Prophet's mosque.

The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, in charge of Mr. Majed Al-Qasabi, said that these projects are part of a set of investment opportunities offered by the secretariats and municipalities through the portal. "Foras", noting that more than 4,500 opportunities have been posted on the portal since its launch.
