Real Madrid refused to leave Vinicius to the Premier League
Arsenal has signed an agreement with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr on the summer transfer market.
According to information from The Sun newspaper, the director of Arsenal, Unai Emery, has tried in different ways to get Vinicius' signature, but Real Madrid has refused to give up.
The newspaper pointed out that Arsenal had been trying to exploit the player's position with Real Madrid, having signed with Belgian Eden Hazard, but that the white club had closed the door in the face of the English club.
The newspaper said in its report that Real Madrid had refused to abandon Vinicius because of the club's desire to develop and grow the 19-year-old who was to become a major player in the team.
St Germain tried to include Vinicius in the Neymar contract, but the royal club also refused to give up.
