A film of poisoned roses depicting Egypt at the Oscars

The Egyptian film selection committee at the Oscar, formed by the Union of Directors of Photography, has decided to select the film "Poised Rose" from director Ahmed Saleh to represent Egypt in the competition for the Oscar for best foreign film with majority of votes.

The film tells about the life of cleaner toilets "greeted", which left him only his brother, "Saqr" tanner, who lives for her and dies her life in her service, upsets her life when she learns that he is looking for to find an opportunity to get out of the tanneries hell, which is what refuses to greet him by trying to block him in different ways and decides to take every measure to keep him by his side.

The film has been screened in numerous international festivals and has recently won three awards: the Cairo Film Festival, the Best Arab Film Award, the Jury Prize for Artistic Contribution and the United Nations Population Award.UNFPAHe also won the Audience Award for best foreign film at the Diorama International Film Festival in India, the sixth prize in the film.
