Ismail Osman's president, Ibrahim Osman, congratulated new coach Miodrag Jisic.
Ismaily announced Saturday that Besic was officially named to lead the team next season.
In a statement posted on the club's official website, Osman said: "Besic's choice comes from his experience in the great Arab region and the number of trophies he has won.
"The coach continued for a long time with training and professional experience."
"I have great confidence in the new coach in order to fulfill the aspirations of the board of directors and the public and lead the team to participate in all the tournaments," said Ismaili.
The Serbian coach should lead the team's training in preparation for the meeting with Libyan Ahli in the Arab League.
Biography of the dervish coach:
Miodrag Jisic is 60 years old and has worked a lot in the Arab world.
Jisic started training in 1997 with the Serbian team Radniceki Nish. His first stop in the Arab world with the Tunisian team Sfaxien in 2000.
The Serbian coach also led the 2009/2010 season of the Ahli Tripoli team, in addition to two experiences in the Saudi league with the Najran 2012/2013 season and the Al Ittifaq 2016/2017 season, which have been the last training stations.
During his career, Jisic won the Arab Champions League titles with CS Sfaxien in 2000, the league and Bulgarian Cup season 2004/2005 and 2006 with CSKA Sofia, the Bulgarian Cup in 2008 with Litex Lovech and the Bulgarian Super Cup with the same team the same year.
The Serbian coach also won the 2009/2010 Libyan championship season, the Libya Cup in 2009 and the Libya Super Cup twice in 2009 and 2010 with Ahli Tripoli.
Finally, Jisic won the Minamari league title with Yangon United in 2015.
