Samuel Eto's announced his retirement from football on Friday after a busy career in both clubs and with his country.
"The end, forward to a new challenge, thank you all, with my great love for you," wrote Eto's on his Instagram account.
Etoo's career began when he graduated from the Real Madrid Academy in 1997 and played three games for the Spanish giants.
He then went to Real Mallorca, then to Barcelona, where he won several national and international titles, including the title of the Champions League twice.
Then the fast and strong striker physically joined Inter Milan to win a third Champions League title in the famous Nerazzurri trio.
The 38-year-old spent his last professional football career at the Qatar Club, defending his colors in the 2018/2019 season.
Internationally, Eto 'has helped Cameroon win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2000 and 2002 and to win the title of African player of the year four times.
In total, Eto's won 118 caps, 56 goals and is considered one of the best players of "Untamed Lions" and the continent.
