Hiba Al-Turk, a squash player, celebrated her wedding in a Cairo hotel to enjoy this period before returning to compete with the start of the new honeymoon season.

The new 2019/2020 squash season kicked off at the Shanghai China Open from September 4th to 8th. Egypt won the women's title by qualifying for the Egyptian quartet Hania Al-Hamami, Ranim Al-Waily, Nouran Gohar and Nour El-Tayeb.
Ali Faraj and brothers Mohammed and Marwan Shorbaji have qualified for men's competitions.
