Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed similarities between Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah and Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
"Mohamed Salah is a great player," said Wenger at BN Sports, "his style is very similar to that of Lionel Messi, and the difference between them is that Salah just likes to score, unlike Messi, who scores a lot of goals.
Wenger thinks Mohamed Salah lacks maturity in football and has a "mania" of scoring goals, unlike Messi, who creates opportunities for his teammates, pointing out that the Egyptian star, when he ages a bit, will realize when he has to pass the ball and when he has to score.
"But I love him anyway, and he has a lot to offer."
Mohamed Salah was widely criticized and irritated by his Senegalese teammate Sadio Mane, the Reds' striker, for failing to pass the ball twice, during his match against Burnley in the fourth round of the Premier League.
