Russian fighter Muslim Salikhov has abandoned his French rival Noureddine Taleb at a UFC 242 tournament in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
The Russian fighter, nicknamed the King of Kung Fu, took a heavy blow at the end of the first round, as his opponent knocked him down to intervene to reign and announce the end of the fight .
Muslim Salikhov, 35, won his second victory in his third UFC bout and his 15th victory so far in his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career, in exchange for two losses.
Noureddine Taleb, 38, had her seventh loss in her professional career against 15 wins.
