A citizen died and his wife and daughter were seriously injured in an explosion in their yard in a village in Tandha Center in Khamis Mushayt.
A police spokesman reported that Khamis Mushait's security services were informed Saturday at 6:35 pm of an explosion in a one-storey popular house in the village of Majal Al-Janoubi, in central Tandha, who killed a citizen and wounded his wife.
He added that the competent authorities had moved to the site and that it had become clear to them that the explosion at the site contained residues, including explosive materials.
Investigations were still under way to investigate all the circumstances.
The father's body was transported to the hospital morgue and the wounded wife and daughter were transported to the hospital.
