Oppo today confirmed its intention to launch the first version of smartphones with a series of new Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 5G processors.
Qualcomm today announced the Snapdragon 700 Series 5G processors shipped with the 5G unit in the processing unit, the first version of this category launched by Qualcomm in late 2019.
Qualcomm also revealed that a number of companies are expected to introduce their own smartphones with the new Snapdragon 700 5G series processors, which include the companies Oppo, LG, HMD, Motorola, Realme and Redmi, as well as Vivo, among 12 companies.
Oppo confirmed that it would be the first company to use the series of new processors in its own version of smart phones, which was revealed in early 2020.
Qualcomm is expected to provide more details on the Snapdragon 700 5G chipset later this year, and is also preparing to soon support the Snapdragon 6 series with 5G connectivity.
