The Egyptian football federation issued a statement on Saturday night, about 24 hours before Zamalek's match against the Egyptian Cup Pyramids, to avoid the match that could harm the safety of the fans and the competition.

In a statement, the Football Association pointed out that in case of violation of any of the elements of the game or the public of both clubs, the regulations of the Federation, whether they are related to the competitions or discipline, will be implemented immediately and appropriate measures and sanctions will be taken.
It should be noted that the management committee of the Football Federation, chaired by Amr al-Janaini, was to meet tomorrow Sunday, September 8 to hold the final of the Egyptian Cup at the Al-Jaish Stadium in Borg El Arab at 8 pm, with more than 20,000 spectators.
