The Education Branch of the Riyadh Region has confirmed its commitment to the implementation of standards for the number of students in the classroom so that this number corresponds to the space available in the classroom to create a environment conducive to achieving better results.

The spokesman Ali Al-Ghamdi said that the Aziziyah Education Office circular in Riyadh on the increase of students' ability in the classroom is a due diligence of the office to solve a problem occurred early in the school year and that it does not represent the directions of the ministry.

In a statement released Sunday, Al-Ghamdi said a committee had been set up to determine the circumstances of the circular, which constitutes a violation of the approved standards.

He explained that the ministry is opening seven educational complexes and eight schools, with a total capacity of 18,000 students, over the present and next year, to serve the southern districts of Riyadh.
