NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – A new study has revealed that it's shocking for chicken lovers to eat certain types of cancer. According to researchers at Oxford University, chicken consumption exposes consumers to the risk of rare blood cancer, such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and prostate cancer in humans. The research involved tracking 475,000 Britons in mid-life over an eight-year period between 2006 and 2014, according to the Daily Mail. She explained: "have been analyzed their diet with the diseases they suffer, and about 23,000 of them have cancer."

She noted that one study had concluded that poultry consumption was positively associated with the risk of malignant skin cancer, prostate cancer and lymphoma. The study illustrates the relationship between chicken consumption and some types of cancer, rather than looking for the causes, but chickens are up to now the healthy alternative to red meat . Red meat is known to increase health risks, including breast cancer, prostate cancer and colorectal cancer, due to the digestion of blood from meat products.
