NASA takes a picture of a huge avalanche on Mars

NASA took an amazing photo of an avalanche on Mars, according to the Daily Mail.

The rare event was announced by engineers from the University of Arizona, who created a high-resolution telescope for scientific satellite imagery.

The images taken on Mars show huge dust plumes due to increased sunlight, effectively melting glaciers

"Each spring, the sun shines on the Arctic's side of Mars, called Arctic sediments," said Candy Hansen of the University of Arizona.

This is not the first time that a major avalanche occurs on the red planet

On February 19, 2008, a similar avalanche occurred on March in the spring, and experts believe that it is because of the impact of a meteorite on Mars, and not because of hot weather.
