Acer launches new Swift notebooks

Acer has launched the new models of the Swift notebook series at the IFA 2019 electronics events in the German capital, Berlin.

The Taiwanese company said the new models are equipped with touch screens incorporating Full HD technology and new Intel processors weighing less than one kilogram.

Acer is promoting its new Swift 5, the lightest 14-inch notebook in the world, weighing 990 grams and only 14.95 mm thick.

The new Acer Swift 5 is based on Intel's (Ice Lake) 10th generation and static processors up to 512GB with NVIDIA Geforce MX250 graphics cards.

The new Acer has a 12.5 hour battery with fast support: the laptop can be charged for 30 minutes before it can be used for an additional 4.5 hours.
