The asteroid "Cheops", the most threatening space objects on the planet

The asteroid approaching the Earth, which is about half the size of the capital, London, must cross the orbital trajectory of the planet on September 24, sending sound signals when its movements were detected in August. This is the size of the great pyramid of Cheops.

The asteroid will rise to 430 meters and travel up to the Earth at a high speed of 22.26 kilometers per second, which currently equates to a distance of 0.027 astronomical units.

She added that the danger in this asteroid is that it has an orbit inclined at an acute angle to Earth's orbit.
The distance of Jupiter is 3.91 astronomical units, which means that the asteroid can be located at 4.1 million kilometers from the Earth and is closer than ever.

Astrophysicist Neil Degras Tyson echoed NASA's growing fear for near-Earth objects, but revealed that asteroids were not "the greatest threat to humanity".

He warned astrophysicists that asteroids should not be the main concern of the end-of-the-world scenario anyway.

In November, European space ministers are expected to support the HERA project – the first human mission to orbit the asteroid and to send two small planes, named CubeSats, to try to understand how it has of life.

She explained that this asteroid is a model for thousands of objects that pose a threat to our planet. Imagine that there is a mountain in the sky the size of the great pyramid that is preparing to fall.
