Arab entrepreneurs have officially announced the acquisition of Nigerian lender Marouf Youssef in Zamalek.
The news comes after Mohamed Adel, general supervisor of the football team, told FilGoal.com that his club would borrow the player for a season.
The Maarouf Youssef agreement is the ninth after the signing of Nigerian Kufri Ebong, former Libyan striker Ahli Bani Ghazi, in free transfer for four seasons; The former defender of Smouha and Shukri Naguib loaned for an Ismaili season.
The 26-year-old Nigerian was about to move to Masri, but the subcontractors managed to get him signed.
Marouf left Zamalek's accounts and the club looked for a suitable offer for the player.
Last season, he played for the Iraqi police, on loan from Zamalek.
The midfielder joined Zamalek in 2014 from the Police Union and was a player from Nigeria's Kwara United.
He was crowned with five titles, including three in the Egyptian Cup and one in the Egyptian Premier League.
