The Tabuk Region Interior Ministry on Wednesday executed the death penalty in Taizir, a citizen for his involvement in the smuggling of a quantity of banned amphetamine pills.
The ministry pointed out that security authorities had arrested Mohammed bin Mutlaq Bin Suleiman al-Atawi during the smuggling of grain and had opened the investigation into the indictment against him.
She added that the above had been referred to the court, which had issued an instrument proving what was legitimately attributed to it and sentenced it to death in Taazir.
