The father of a Saudi student forgives the murderer of his son on two conditions

The father of a Saudi primary school student, deceased after being strangled after an argument with his colleague, announced that he was giving up the retribution of his son's murderer, which was recorded in the police report, for registration at the competent court.

According to the local newspaper "Sabak", Khwaitem al-Harthy, the father of the victim, asked in return for his waiver to release the child accused of the murder of his son, while not compromising the school administration and teachers.

The incident took place at Bishr ibn al-Walid Primary School, a suburb of Laban in Riyadh, where a student strangled his colleague during a fight.

The news of the murder of this 12-year-old child caused panic among parents as soon as the details were broadcast on social networking sites as it was one of the incidents the most violent in Saudi schools.
