The Ministry of the Civil Service announced that the holidays of the Saudi National Day for the public and private sectors and students of schools and universities will be held on the 23rd day of each year, Article IV (B) stipulating that the holidays of the national holiday for this year 2019 will take place on Monday 24 Muharram 1441 corresponding to 23 September 2019.
According to the civil service system, weekly holidays during the third week of next month of Muharram will be 4 days, Friday and Saturday, to the week, and Monday will be the holiday of the national holiday.
Due to the importance of celebrating this event in Saudi Arabia, National Day has become one of the official holidays celebrated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia each calendar year.
Saudi Arabia celebrates only three official occasions under the Civil Service Law: Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and Saudi National Day.
