The Interior Ministry on Thursday issued a death sentence to try to smuggle a quantity of heroin into Jeddah province.
The ministry said in a statement that the security authorities had arrested Mohammed Imran Mohammed Shafi, a "Pakistani national," when he smuggled in a quantity of heroin.
She added that his interrogation had resulted in the indictment against him and that by returning him to court, an act confirming his sentence and sentencing him to death had been issued.
