Russian world champion Habib Nurmohammadov posted a photo of him with 10 men and associated him with the words "family", according to his official Instagram account on Friday.
The photo elicited many different reactions because of the appearance of men only in the form of "family", where many followers asked: Are not your wives and children family? Some have seen disrespect for women and others have said Are you ashamed to show your wife and children?
Other followers loved the photo and blamed the conservative customs of the Muslim majority Muslim republic of Dagestan for the lack of women in the family image.
Habib has retained his world title, following his recent victory over his American rival, Dustin Poirier, in a fight that brought them together last Saturday in the United Arab Emirates (UFC 242).
Habib Nurmukhamedov forced his American opponent to go in the middle of the third round of the UFC 242 tournament in Abu Dhabi.
Habib, 30, has won his 28th victory so far in his professional career, without bitter defeat.
Bouarrier, 30, has already suffered six defeats against 25 victories in his professional career.
