US President Donald Trump has refuted media reports that Israel could spy on the White House.
Trump told reporters Thursday night: "I do not think the Israelis are spying on us, it's hard to believe that," according to the "free" American (official) channel.
He continued, "Anything is possible, but I do not think so, my relationship with Israel is excellent."
And on Thursday, US officials released "Politico", saying "the Israelis have planted material in areas near the White House to spy on President Trump and his relatives."
Israel has planted devices called Sting Ray, discovered in Washington in 2017, that are similar to signals from cell towers to intercept calls and text messages, officials said.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "I have a guideline: do not spy on the United States".
