Al Ahly striker Walid Azzaro has proved he is not ready to play against Ghana, Kano Sport.
Ahli will face Ghana, Kano Sport, at 18:00 on Saturday in the first leg of the African Champions League round of 32.
Al Ahli's doctor, Khaled Mahmoud, revealed that Azzaro was not ready to play against Kano Sport because of a knee injury.
Al-Ahli's doctor said: "Walid Azzaro suffers from a knee injury suffered during his participation in Morocco."
"Rene Feiler preferred not to risk Azzaro, who was not completely prepared," he told reporters.
Azzaro, 24, scored two goals early in the African campaign of Al Ahly this season, but will not be available at the first appearance of Red Genie under Feiler.
