The Ministry of Health has conducted more than 34,000 control tours in all parts of the Kingdom during the last year of the year 1440 AH, in order to preserve patient safety.
The ministry explained that the number of field trips had reached 34,430, and had issued a number of criminal decisions against private health institutions, 2,088 decisions, while the sanctions imposed on health practitioners reached 608 decisions.
