As everyone knows, the latest version of the Android operating system, with the Android 10 version number, has enabled the system-wide dark mode feature. More and more applications are receiving this support, however, there is no default option to automatically schedule switching between light and dark modes.
Because of the open nature of Android, anything that does not exist or is not supported by external applications fills the existing void.
For this, the application Automatic Dark Theme has been launched. It allows you to briefly program the transition from normal mode to dark mode.
Before you do this, you must perform the first step: connect your phone to your computer, run and run the ADB command.
However, the application will allow its users to set specific schedules to enable and disable the dark theme.
By default, the dark mode turns on at 22 o'clock and lights up at 7 o'clock, but you can adjust it as you like.
Regarding the possibility of using the application Automatic Dark Theme, when you install it for the first time. It welcomes you with instructions on how to give it permission to write lock settings, allowing it to change the attribute at the system level.
You may need to unlock the developer settings to enable USB debugging.
Then you can connect your phone to the computer and run the ADB command below. Finally, the application checks if it has the required permission and you can start using it now.
Finally, the Automatic Dark Theme app is available for free and full download on the Google Play Store. As it is a totally dark mode, it is only available on Android 10.
