The 11-year-old Dutchman Davy van der Hoeven won the Young Astronomer of the Year award for his portrait in the sky of Rosette Nebula, located 5,000 light-years away from Earth.

The winners were selected from 68 short images, all of which will be exhibited at the show until April 26, 2020.

"Each year, the level increases and participants continue to look for new creative ways to express their creativity," said Tom Kiers, astronomer at the Royal Observatory and one of the judges.
