The Blokada app protects privacy on Android devices

Android device owners can rely on Blokada to prevent tracking because the open source application controls the traffic of all applications and blocks them if necessary. Not only does Blokada protect privacy, but it also reduces data download times and traffic, including mobile data packets, which are limited by most users.

Technically, Blokada operates locally on mobile devices, as a virtual private network (VPN), through which it directs the flow of data.

As a result, the application appears as an active VPN network in the Android settings, with a small VPN icon in the upper right corner of the smartphone screen.

The Ad Blocking / Host Log tab can identify blocked connections and servers or servers connected to applications and services installed on the smartphone. These servers are usually surprisingly numerous and the text search function makes searching easier. The list of the host log can be deleted at any time.

If the user is not satisfied with the many blocked host lists, he can add the server addresses to his own blacklist or set exceptions. If there are problems with some applications, this may be due to the fact that they may be free of redirection under "Applications" in the Settings menu.

Android device owners can download the app from the Google Play Store, the company's website, or the F-Droid app store, after installing the F-Droid-Store app. The download source should be classified as a source of trust.
