The SFDA has announced that it has decided to withdraw the drug ZANTAC at all concentrations and in all its pharmaceutical forms.
He added that he had suspended the registration of five other products: NADINE, RANACID, RANID, RANIMAX and ZYDAC.
According to international regulatory authorities, prior preparations would likely contain carcinogenic impurities.
The Authority confirmed that it was working to analyze the preparations and to ensure that the impurities do not exceed the limit, where it took samples of all the products submitted for analysis, highlighting thus the fact that there are therapeutic alternatives that can be obtained from the treating physicians.
