The current school year, which involves 1,73,270 schools in 6,000 schools, is in addition to the dental examination program launched last year with the participation of mobile clinics, implemented in 6,806 schools and examined 272,503 students. This year, 320,000 students in 8,806 schools will be examined. The programs included eye health for kindergarten children by screening for refractive errors, trachoma and laziness. This year, the program will target 100% of kindergarten students. In the same context, "Health" recently launched "Health in my school", which has been implemented in different parts of the Kingdom through shopping malls to present school-based health programs and initiatives.
