UK Transport Secretary Grant Shaps has announced that Cyprus and Lithuania will be banned from England’s list of safe travel countries from next Sunday.
This means that those arriving in England from the two countries mentioned will have to be isolated for a period of 14 days in order to avoid the spread of the Corona virus in the United Kingdom.

The minister added that the British authorities will not add any country to the list of safe countries this week.
This comes against the backdrop of the recent increase in the number of coronavirus infections in many countries around the world.
Britain recorded 23,000 new cases of the Corona virus today, Thursday, in addition to 280 deaths.
