Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The number of deaths from the emerging corona virus (Covid 19) worldwide has exceeded 1.1 million, according to statistics from Johns Hopkins University, while the number of infections at HIV exceeded 45 million people. All over the world since China reported its first case to the World Health Organization (WHO) in December.
Considering the number of deaths globally, the United States has recorded the highest incidence and deaths in the world, bringing the number of injured to 8.9 million and 228,000 deaths so far, and India came second in number of injuries, recording 8 million injuries. Brazil ranked second in death toll after the United States, reaching 158,000 deaths.
At the Arab level, Iraq ranks first in deaths from the Corona virus, bringing the total number of deaths in Iraq to 10.8 thousand cases, followed by Egypt with around 6.2 thousand deaths, then the ‘Saudi Arabia with around 5.3 thousand deaths.
