The official spokesman of the emirate of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, Sultan Al-Dossari, explained that at 10:30 p.m. Friday evening, the security authorities of the Holy Capital triggered an accident which struck a car into one of the gates of the Grand Mosque due to its drift as it traveled at high speed on one of the roads surrounding the southern square of the Grand Mosque.

The spokesperson confirmed that no one was injured.
He added that it became clear that the person after his arrest was a Saudi citizen in abnormal condition, indicating that he is being referred to the prosecution.
