He added that the pilgrim can purchase the entire aviation, transportation, hotel and subsistence program, and specify an Umrah company or establishment to provide services, as there are 531 Saudi companies. and Umrah establishments that work to provide the best services and packages to pilgrims, he said.
He also added that there were over 6,500 external Umrah agents, 32 locations and a global booking platform available to book programs through Umrah and pay online, while businesses and establishments from Umrah are prepared and that all health courses for crowd prevention and management have been taken for their employees and workers.
Further, he revealed that the work of a number of these societies has been activated and the rest of the other societies and institutions are in the process of completing the procedures for their activation for this year’s 1442 AH season by the Ministry. of Hajj and Umrah and the competent authorities.
Thousands of pilgrims and faithful
Also in the context, the spokesperson for the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Hani Haider, said that the presidency has completed preparations for the launch of the third phase of the return of the pilgrims. and worshipers, with a set of intensive preventive measures coinciding with the expected increase in numbers, with continued monitoring by the General President of the Mosque and the Prophet’s affairs. He said: “From tomorrow, Sunday, the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque will receive 20,000 pilgrims and 60,000 worshipers per day, and its employees are working in cooperation with the authorities concerned to facilitate procedures and apply precautions for the safety, security and comfort of the guests of Rahman. “
He also pointed out that the General Presidency has equipped 600 electric carts and 5,000 wheelbarrows, supervised by 120 employees, especially for pilgrims, and that they are continuously sterilized, before and after use, with sterilization stickers placed to confirm that vehicles are sterile and ready for use, adding that the presidency mocked 33 field crews working around the clock to sterilize all sides of the Grand Mosque and its outpatient squares and toilets, using more than 2500 liters of ecological sterilizers for the safety of those who visit the Grand Mosque, and there are more than 300 modern automatic hand sterilization devices that work with a sensor function, distributed in the corners of a house. Hani stressed that the presidency continues in the third phase by organizing the entry and exit paths of pilgrims and faithful, applying precautionary measures and social differences between them in all the chapels, during the exercise of all functions, indicating that it follows the flow of movement and surveillance of all sites of the Grand Mosque, starting from the squares.
