Devotees performed the dawn prayer today (Sunday) at the Grand Mosque, coinciding with the start of the third phase of the season of Umrah.

And the relevant authorities have determined a number of 60,000 people per day who are allowed to pray in the Great Mosque, provided they are received according to specified procedures and with permits through the application of “Umrah”.

The General Presidency of the Affairs of the Great Mosque and of the Prophet’s Mosque, in cooperation with the health and security authorities, organized the entry and exit of the faithful from the gathering places.

I also oversaw their commitment to precautionary measures, such as submitting to temperature sensing by thermal imaging cameras, continuous sterilization of hands, wearing medical masks, and their adherence to educational posters that show the social distancing distances and specific paths.
